BBC presenter Claira Hermet was faced with a difficult decision. After her mother and sister both died from breast cancer she was tested for the BRCA 1 gene, a genetic mutation that increases the likelihood of breast cancer in women by 85%.

The tests confirmed that she carried it.
So Claira has elected to bravely undergo the knife and have her 32 double D's removed as a precaution.

Claira decided to present her decision publicly on her blog and youtube channel to try and raise awareness and money for the Genesis Breast Cancer Prevention Appeal.

4. 克萊拉也將她的決定放到部落格跟Youtube頻道上，希望能引起大眾對乳癌重視、同時為創世紀乳癌防治基金會 (Genesis Breast Cancer Prevention Appeal) 募款，展現出十足的愛心。

She wanted to remember her boobs as they were though and before Double D Day (her nickname for her surgery on January 21st) arrived she had a cast mold made.

She even threw a party in celebration and memory of her boobs.

11. 在這場派對中她放進了一些幫助募款的東西，像是這些可愛的胸部杯子蛋糕。

It was a themed bash with all of the proceeds (nipple cake sales included) going towards her fund raising.
