大家都知道塑膠難以分解、對環境造成極大汙染，其中外觀呈半透明乳白色的HDPE高密度聚乙烯，更是不易腐蝕，於是國外網友想到了一個點子，將這種堅固耐用的塑膠DIY成實用美觀兼具的藝術品，一起來看看吧！

1. 首先，他把收集好幾個月的HDPE塑膠容器集合起來，拆下瓶蓋。

Over the course of a few months, this clever DIY'er saved any HDPE marked bottles, as well as plenty of container caps.

2. 把這些瓶蓋依照顏色、大小分類排序。

He organized everything by color before cutting them down into smaller pieces.

3. 將所有瓶蓋剪成一樣大小的碎片。

Cutting the plastic into even squares was time consuming, but would ideally allow him to control the color pattern later on.

After cutting the plastic, it was time to melt it and fill a mold.

5. 接著，拿出可以耐高溫的玻璃碗，把彩色塑膠片分層裝到碗裡。

He decided to use a glass bowl as his mold.

Everything is layered nicely, so it's time to heat it all up. He used a grill outside to do it.

7. 然後他在戶外架起烤肉架，開始烤這些塑膠碎片。當碎片融化壓下去後，他又加了新的碎片。

As the plastic melted down, he kept adding to it.

8. 不過，第一次實驗卻失敗了，整個碗都熔化了，所以他又拿出另一個新的玻璃碗，重新添加塑膠碎片。

Unfortunately, the glass bowl cracked, so he had to move the entire thing to another bowl -- a mess, but a temporary setback nonetheless.

9. 這次他拿進烤箱裡烤。

The rest of it got finished in the oven.

10. 烤完後，所有塑膠碎片都熔在一起了。

The colored layers weren't even, but it still looks pretty cool.

12. 接著把半成品拿去請車床加工場塑形。

Next, it was time to shape the bowl even more.

He used a lathe to do so, which hollowed out the inside of the bowl pretty well.

14. 最後，五顏六色的盆形容器就完成了！

15. 是不是很難想像，廢棄的塑膠瓶竟然也能這樣玩～雖然這個容器不能拿來裝食物，但擺在家裡也是挺有趣的，最重要的是，多少也做到塑膠回收，減少地球負擔呢！

And here's how it looks from above. It's a pretty cool result, and all from some recycled plastic.
