美國29歲連環殺人犯建金斯 (Nikko Jenkins)，因連環殺害4人，2013年8月被判終身監禁。

建金斯連續自殘，為的是證明自己精神錯亂，要求輕判，但法庭認為他「毫無悔過之意」，同意控方請求，改判他死刑。

法官宣判死刑時表示，4宗謀殺案都是精心蓄意策劃，而裁決也是基於兇手毫無悔意及其暴力記錄所下的定讞。
