Definitely in my feelings this Sunday. Wanted to write something to get it off my chest. Had some things happen that made me disappointed more than anything, but I know that my perception is at a different vantage point. I’m adopted into a mostly white family, I’m married to a hispanic woman, I served in the Marines along side all races enough that I judge a man or woman by their actions individually. With that being said, I can’t expect everyone to do the same. Reality is racism is real and very present today, but I hope we can combat that with pictures and acts of unity. Out of all my pictures, this one always stands out to me. Universally from top to bottom you can feel love. No black or white, large small, male or female. Genuine positive emotion. I will continue to post pictures, videos, and everything I can to send out those vibes. You never know who needs it. I love that little girl and her family and will continue to support them in any way that I can. PS. Yes I edited those words on my back not to full anyone, but to be clear of my message. My strength is nothing compared to hers. Guess who turns 13 today?! Little Lindsay. Every second she is on this earth she creates hope, joy, love, and inspiration. She is one of those people that you could meet once and never forget your experience with her. May 13th is the day! For what you ask?! For the 12th Annual Miles For Miracles walk fundraiser event for Progeria Research Foundation. Little Lindsay will be leading this walk who is 1 of 150 children who have this rare genetic condition.
