It's Italian name, Egoista, translates to "selfish". Fitting for this single seater.

The Egoista concept car is one of a kind…literally, this is the only one ever made.

Using the words of the car's designer, Walter De Silva: “This is a car designed purely for hyper-sophisticated people who want only the most extreme and special things in the world”.

The canopy-style door is completely removable. In addition, to get in and out of the car the driver has to remove the steering wheel too.

I'm not making-up the following; the design of the car took elements from 3 things…a bull, an attack helicopter and a UFO.

Walter De Silva: “Two white front lights, two red rear lights, a red flashing light in the upper part of the tail, two orange bull’s eyes as side markers, and a further two lights on the roof, red on the left and green on the right, make this four-wheeled UFO unique even in the dark”.

When viewed from the front, the Egoist is meant to look like a mad bull that is about to charge.

The cockpit used elements of the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter. Walter De Silva description of the driver's seat, it “represents a sort of survival cell, allowing the driver to isolate and protect themselves from external elements”.
