《纽约邮报》报导，川普太太梅兰妮(Melania)与10岁小儿子拜伦(Baron)将不会随川普入住白宫，而是继续住在曼哈顿的川普大楼内。

过渡团队的公关总监米勒(Jason Miller)指出，对拜伦来说，前阵子总统竞选活动十分难熬，川普夫妇也担心学期中途转校会影响拜伦课业，因此打算让他继续在原本学校就读，直到明年六月份学期结束。希望将干扰降到最低。
